Sep 28, 2010   Comments Off on Josh Duhamel on Movie Poster: “My Package Never Looked So Huge” News and rumors

Some people may be uncomfortable if a picture of them in their underwear was plastered on billboards everywhere, but Josh Duhamel couldn’t be happier with his Life as We Know It movie poster!

“My package never looked so huge,” Josh joked to Access Hollywood about the movie poster starring him in his white boxer briefs.

And Katherine Heigl, Josh’s co-star, agrees!

“On a 14-story building it’s at least three stories,” Katherine said of the poster being featured on many skyscrapers.

“To be honest, I did know,” Josh confessed. “I didn’t mind… I didn’t feel like it was like a gratuitous underwear shot. I look like a grandpa in my underwear. If anything, it’s like the opposite of sexy so I thought it was sort of fun.”

Sep 27, 2010   Comments Off on Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel Compare Dating Nightmares News and rumors

Talk about a bad date: Before she married singer Josh Kelley nearly three years ago, Katherine Heigl says she endured a string of nightmare encounters that still makes her cringe. Meanwhile, dating just plain scared her screen costar, Josh Duhamel.

Speaking at Saturday’s press conference in New York for their romantic comedy opening Oct. 8, Life As We Know It, the Grey’s Anatomy Emmy winner, 31, says her worst date was with her personal trainer, when she was 18.

“I was like, 20 lbs. heavier and trying real hard to work it off at the gym and my trainer asked me out,” the actress recalled. “He took me to Sizzler and gave me his head shot and asked me if I could get him in my agency. I knew it wasn’t the extra 20 lbs. that turned him on!”

Sep 25, 2010   Comments Off on Josh Duhamel Talks Lazy Sundays and Starting a Family News and rumors

Josh Duhamel and Fergie may be a Hollywood power couple, but they still try to go to church on Sundays. But now that the NFL football season is starting, Duhamel has to rethink his priorities.

He said: “My wife and I like to go to church if we’re in town. On Sundays, I try to be as chill as I can, whether I’m watching golf or barbecuing.

“Now football season is starting so that will pretty much cover my Sundays for a while.”

Sep 23, 2010   Comments Off on ELLE Man: Josh Duhamel News and rumors

He’s got the killer looks, the superstar wife (Fergie), and a packed roster of new movies. Could Josh Duhamel be the leading man Hollywood’s been waiting for?

Stepping out of the blazing Los Angeles sunlight into the Brentwood is blinding; the restaurant is movie-theater dark, with lamps creating discrete halos of light over each white tablecloth. It’s exactly the kind of place most women would love to find themselves cozied up with Josh Duhamel. Perfect, really, except—harrumph—Mr. Perfect has positioned himself in the best seat from which to sneak glances at the TV behind the bar, where Mickelson and Woods are sweating it out at golf’s U.S. Open. Luckily, Duhamel is actually too obsessed (and too well-mannered) to pull off this bit of multitasking; the screen soon proves so distracting that he calls his wife, Fergie, home on a break from touring with the Black Eyed Peas, and asks her to TiVo it for him—“Thanks, honey.”

Sep 13, 2010   Comments Off on Josh Duhamel Says Fergie Makes Him a Better Person News and rumors

After a year and a half of marriage to Fergie, Josh Duhamel has greatly matured when it comes to his views on love and beauty.

“I just look for a really nice ass!” the actor, his tongue in his cheek, told reporters at Tuesday’s New York press conference for his new movie, The Romantics.

Kidding aside, the Transformers star, 37, says he’s come to appreciate Fergie’s inner beauty and the connection that’s at the core of love. “You grow up and you realize it isn’t just about the aesthetic,” he says. “It’s about whether or not that person makes you better and whether or not that person makes you happy. You’re lucky if you can find it.”

Sep 13, 2010   Comments Off on Katie Holmes & Josh Duhamel Discuss ‘The Romantics’ News and rumors

One of the most glitzy films to come out of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival was Galt Niederhoffer’s adaptation of her own novel, The Romantics. It’s not really a glamorous film; in actuality it’s the exact opposite. After all, how often does a movie with a cast that includes pretty people like Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Anna Paquin and Malin Akerman deliver a serious narrative that offers a realistic look at love? The answer is “not that often” and since the studio system generally refuses to make films that deal with relationships authentically, we turn to the voices of independent film to fill that void.

Although The Romantics isn’t a bubbly film fantasy guided by the statistics that a marketing team dug up, it does have the golden look of one thanks to it’s star-studded cast – which also includes Elijah Wood, Adam Brody, Rebecca Lawrence and Jeremy Strong. They were all present at the press junket for the film which was held at the Gansevoort Hotel in NYC, where they answered questions about their take on love, the experience of making the film and much more. Read on for quotes from the conference and make sure you check out The Romantics when it hits theaters in limited release this weekend before expanding on September 24th.

Q: Congratulations on such a great cast. That’s really something. For Josh and Katie, Laura seems to know that Laura and Tom are a perfect match. Is that a true thing? Or do they observe each other because they’re not great people, or are they great people when they’re together?

Katie Holmes: Sometimes you gel and sometimes it’s not your ideal match. Sometimes your head drags you in one direction and your heart pulls you in another. I think that these two characters are pulled by those two forces. And in turn, the two characters are pulled toward one another and then maybe they’re not different at all times.

Sep 13, 2010   Comments Off on Josh Duhamel Talks Gambling and ‘Weird’ Encounter With Tom Cruise News and rumors

When Josh Duhamel isn’t running from Katie Holmes and Anna Paquin in ‘The Romantics,’ he’s reminiscing about fishing, organic chemistry and backyard barbecues. Although he’s a quiet guy, Duhamel’s life has been quite flashy since the days he modeled alongside Ashton Kutcher. The North Dakota native (who left because the winters were “pretty gnarly”) briefly chatted with PopEater about ‘The Romantics’ (in theaters now), meeting Tom Cruise and his surprising take on gambling in Las Vegas.

So this movie is about two gals fighting over you. Ever had that in real life?
No, I can’t say I have. I was always in a monogamous relationship. I’m a boring guy. No crazy stories to tell, unfortunately.

In ‘The Romantics,’ Katie Holmes and Anna Paquin fight over you. Here’s a scenario for ya: The three of you are in a lifeboat, there’s only room for two …
I’m not going to answer that! They’re both lovely, although different. Katie is very nurturing and motherly and Anna is more of a wildcat, so there you go.
Did you freak out the first time you met Tom Cruise?
Yeah. I’m not going to lie, it was weird meeting him the first time, but we’ve spent lots of time together, we’ve had dinners together. They [Katie and Tom] are always together and that’s the way a marriage in Hollywood should be.

This movie is called ‘The Romantics.’ What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done with your wife, Fergie?
Um, let me think. I hid little Easter eggs around the house with presents inside them for [Fergie] when she was my girlfriend.

Sep 13, 2010   Comments Off on Josh Duhamel ‘self-conscious about legs’ News and rumors

Josh Duhamel has revealed that he asked studio bosses to retouch a movie poster after becoming self-conscious about his thin leg.

The Transformers star told BlogTalkRadio that he only agreed to strip off in a promotional picture for new movie Life As We Know It if his weak limb could be altered to look more impressive.

According to WENN, Duhamel said: “I was like, ‘Okay dude, I’ll do the underwear but please make my right calf look a little bit bigger’.”

“I ruptured my Achilles [heel] six years ago and it never grew back, so it’s like half the size of the other one.” [Source]
